WIND cares for health and the environment


WIND deploys its Base Station network with responsibility and sensitivity in terms of public health and the environment. During the installation, operation and monitoring the company complies with all the international safety requirements, as well as the Greek Legislation regulations..

In addition to the strict compliance to the legislation for deploying mobile telephony networks, WIND closely monitors all the relative research internationally level and adopts all the scientific findings to minimise or even eliminate any risk of exposure to electromagnetic fields.

The company is also investing in modern technology for the safety and quality of its services and to protect the general public and the environment.

It also participates in conferences as well as competent institutional bodies (EETT, ELOT, etc) where it aims to contribute to the formulation of a general telecommunications policy that shall assure high level of services not only for the network users but for all Greek citizens.
