Service provision methods
The use of the Service is only possible for the following prepaid WIND packages: prepaid F2G, Q, Mobile Broadband, as well as for the company’s cost control plans (Καρτοσύνδεση). You can pay using credit, debit and prepaid VISA and MASTERCARD cards, through the secure systems of the National Bank of Greece. In particular, the Service is provided in collaboration with the National Bank of Greece, which has established a special electronic payment system, which guarantees that the details of any credit/debit card used within the context of the Service are securely processed. Also, Users may pay via the PayPal service provided by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. in accordance with the terms and conditions set out by PayPal and the automated process for the registration or certification of the registered user and the order for the completion of the payment. By providing the details of the card (or PayPal account), Users acknowledge and consent that the amount of the transaction will be charged to their card (or PayPal account) through the electronic payment systems of the National Bank or PayPal. To complete payments, the card and PayPal account details shall be inserted directly in the websites of the National Bank or PayPal respectively, without any intervention by WIND. In the website where the payment is completed via National Bank or PayPal, users are asked to enter the details of their credit or debit or prepaid cards, such as the details of the owner of the card, the number of the card, its expiry date, cvv2, or Paypal username and password, which are primarily collected by the National Bank and PayPal, without any intervention by WIND, that does not collect, store and in general does not process in any way the card and/or PayPal account details, and is not involved in the payment completion in any way whatsoever. Therefore, WIND bears no liability for any issue that may arise during the payment process or because of it, as well as through the processing of the aforementioned data. With regard to any dispute and/or questions relating to card charges, Users must contact the bank that issued their card. Respectively, with regard to any dispute and/or question related to their PayPal account, the Users must directly contact PayPal. It should be emphasized that from the moment that the users complete the payment transaction, they may not cancel it and WIND bears no liability towards them or any third party. Without prejudice to the exceptional case of a technical issue preventing the smooth completion of the process, the electronic purchase of credits through the Service is completed in real time, i.e. the money is directly credited to the account of the prepaid mobile number or cost control plan connection (Καρτοσύνδεση) and the balance of the subscriber changes accordingly. Also, provided that the User has registered their e-mail during purchase, they may be notified by e-mail that the amount was credited to the selected connection account. After the top-up is completed through the Service, Users may view online and print the top-up purchase receipt, provided that they have a myF2G or myQ account. Furthermore, the purchase receipt may be sent to their e-mail, provided that their email address and connection number have been declared and that they have requested a receipt. It is specified that the top-up history in the myF2G and myQ registered user area shall only refer to and include online purchases. Purchases completed via any other channel are not included.
Restrictions on the use of the Service
There are restrictions for the service regarding the maximum airtime amount allowed to be purchased and the maximum number of transactions in 24 hours and 30 days. Any restrictions may be amended at any time without prior notice.
Security of transactions and personal data
WIND takes technical and organizational measures for the security of data and transactions made through the internet. The personal data of users which are related to the transaction (transaction number, subscriber’s registration number, payment amount, IP address, telephone number, e-mail) collected and processed by WIND are the minimum required for the proper provision of the service, and are exclusively used for the receipt, execution and completion of the top-up transaction of the users and in accordance with the terms of provision of the relevant telecommunications service. The above data shall not be communicated, nor transmitted to any third party, apart from the cooperating companies for the Service (National Bank and PayPal) and shall be kept for the time period provided by the applicable law. The use of the Service entails as per above the processing of the personal details of the user, which is based on the execution of the related top-up contract. Users should take all the appropriate measures to ensure the privacy of their data and are obliged to use the Service as provided by WIND, namely in accordance with the provided instructions and taking into account that the rules of good conduct must also be safeguarded during the use of this Service. Also, Users are forbidden from attempting to exploit possible security gaps of the WIND systems in order to gain access to other user information, disrupt the smooth operation of the Service, execute malware and generally downgrade the systems’ security level. If Users become aware of any incident relating to the security of their data and/or transactions, they must immediately address Customer Service and report the issue immediately. Users must understand that they are responsible for any and all of their actions on the internet and must not use the provided applications in an illegal or non-contractual manner. Any case of violation of the law and in particular the illegal behavior of extortion, name calling, defamation, racist treatment, pedophilia, stalking or disclosure of confidential information, damage, destruction or interruption of the operation of any computer software or hardware, etc. shall be considered as behaviour that violates the law and the contract in breach of the terms and conditions of use of the services.
Cancellation and refund
WIND does not accept any request for the cancellation of the transaction and/or refund for top-ups which have been carried out and completed through the Service.
Limitation of liability
WIND will not be liable for any legal or civil or penal claims or for any damage caused by the visitors of the website or by third parties due to a cause related to the operation or otherwise and/or the use of the website and/or a failure to provide the Service and/or information available through it and/or any unauthorized interventions to the Service by third parties.
